This Pfaltzgraff Eastside 7 3/4" square salad plate is in decent size and very elegant and expensive outlooking,it looks much bigger than Tea Rose salad plate from the same brand.I love the black & red color and the design of the plate!Good quality as well!It's a little bit expensive than other style salad plate,but indeed worth it!Would definitely become a great addition to your dish collection!!!

Rather than buy single place settings, I would recommend the 50 piece set which includes 8 6 piece place settings.( dinner plate, salad plate, bread and butter plate, cup and saucer and a bowl) I bought it for 209.99 from belk.com. It is exactly the same and also includes a serving bowl and platter. The set is nice and simple and has the classic look of much more expensive sets.

Review of Lenox Holiday Casserole with Lid

I bought this for someone but found myself in a pinch so ended up using it...and use it often!It's not a large piece but perfect for a smaller dinner (4-8 folks) or on the buffet table.Its style blends well with casual as well as more formal settings.Also, the casserole bowl doesn't have the typical look of something having a lid so it doubles well as a serving bowl.
One minor negative...the glass cover has more of a pyrex-type look than something belonging to a Lenox piece.

Review of Nautica Arctic Night 8-Inch Salad Plate

I received these plates as part of a set for our wedding five years ago.I also bought another set three years ago when it went on clearance at a big-box store.There is a noticeable quality difference between the two sets, and it is most evident in the plates.The plates from the newer set are thinner, lighter, and more brittle than the original set.So far I have not had any problems with the salad plates due to quality differences, but it is something you may want to be aware of, depending on where you buy your dishes.

The plates are a good size for a variety of purposes.Although intended primarily as a salad plate, I find that they are large enough to use as a dinner plate for small meals.We also use them for breakfast items, sandwiches/snacks, and desserts.Microwaving is no problem; just be sure to use a pot holder, as the plate can get quite hot.The plates fit nicely in the dishwasher on either the top or bottom rack.

I like that the matte/shiny pattern extends all the way into the middle of the plate.The Nautica Arctic Night 11.25-Inch Dinner Plate only has the decoration around the rim, with matte only in the food area.We have done some nice artistic food pictures using these plates.

Overall, these are a solid product, and I hope to continue using them for years to come.

Twice I have tried to order a bowl to replace cracked ones. (They crack very easily, and are ridiculously huge, too big to put in the dishwasher comfortably). I bought this dinnerware because it has square plates.It also has a very cheerful pattern.There are 4 vegetables and colors incorporated into the design of each "setting":eggplant, artichoke, tomato and pepper; light purple, green, red and yellow.The dinnerplate looks like a huge picture frame surrounding the food so it looks like a still life.All the pieces are heavy and hold very generous portions. I can see gaining weight with this pattern.

However, the reason I am having a hard time giving this pattern a high rating is the dishes chip so very easily.So badly that I am returning all my pieces. I treat my dishes very carefully, but I have had my set only a month and 3 pieces are chipped.This saddens me.

Review of Picnic Time Barrel Riviera Edition Picnic Basket

This is a great basket!It's way bigger than I expected it to be, but that's a bonus, as I was initially concerned how much I'd be able to fit in there.As it is, I can definitely fit plenty of food, drinks, and a blanket.

It came with everything you need: (except a blanket, but you could always use the included tablecloth as a mini blanket), 2 sets of flatware (spoon, fork, knife), 2 matching napkins, 2 small clear plastic wine glasses, 2 plastic plates (mine are different from pictured, they just have a plain green border, not the stripes), a frosted glass mini salt & pepper shakers, wine bottle opener with foil knife, and a tablecloth.

Everything has it's own leather strapping to hold it securely and everything fits on either the flap doors or on the ends of the basket, leaving TONS of deep room in the basket.

I'm so excited to use this, and I'm planning my menu (fried chicken, potato salad, and fruit bars so far!).I also love that I can strap this onto the back rack of my bicycle and head to the beach or park for a mini 1-person picnic.

I bought 3 of these...one for me and each of my sister-in-laws, since our last name is Marshall. I use it for salads, vegetables, you name it. One of my sister-in-laws uses it as a fruit bowl and its always on her counter. Who knows about the other one? Its sturdy, attractive, and my 9 year old son loves it because it has an acorn pattern around the outside and he loves acorns!

This is a 12 3/4 X 7 1/4 inch platter that is somewhere between rectangular and oval. It is sepia toned with acorn border. I don't know whether every dish in a specific size has the same image, but mine is a picture of Broadway (NY) about a century ago. The backstamp calls it "Historic America II," indicates safe in dishwasher and microwave, and says it is made in England.

This little Franciscan Apple Dinnerware Creamer is so beautifully made. There is a matching sugar bowl and lid, too. I do not use mine to hold cream or half-and-half on an everyday basis because I would have to keep it covered with saran wrap so the liquid would not absorb any refrigerator odors. However, I do love to use it when I use my Franciscan Apple Coffepot or when entertaining at a dinner party. There is also a small milk jug, and there are two other larger pitchers in the Apple pattern. I have also used the Apple creamer as a server for sauces.
