We had a problem with tons of cups and glasses landing in the dirty dishes. We decided that every family member would get their own mug, and they were responsible for keeping that mug clean. If they used another glass or mug - they needed to also clean that one. These mugs not only make that strategy easy, but they are lovely ceramic mugs that are pretty to look at and a joy to use. We are even getting a couple of "G" mugs for guests, so they won't be left out when we have our initial mugs all around the table!
