Review of Lenox Holiday Bless This Home Tray

This is a beautiful tray that would make a wonderful addition to any home, whether they own Lenoxdishes or not.It arrives in a lovely brick red presentation box, that also has a nice photograph of the tray on it and the name of the item and the company written on it in impressive gold lettering.It's a good solid tray, one that is not extremely fragile or flimsy.It is breakable, but not so much so that you look at it and it breaks.

For what it's worth, it is made in China.I am not going to hold it against it, though.It is a purchase that is well worth it, in my opinion.It even looks better than in the Amazon photograph.

There is a reason why there is no "inspected by" slip in the packages of Reed & Barton's Impression flatware, it is clear that nothing has been inspected. Both sets bought in a local store, and one bought on line from Silver Spoon, were filled with flaws. There were pieces with spots missing stainless coating,a knife with a chunk out of its blade, pieces with wavy coatings, rough, poorly finished handle ends, black spots, and some pieces with a brown, gooey, tar-like substance that took Goo Gone to remove.

The weight and design are nice but the quality?Non existent.I am surprised that an old-line company like Reed &Barton would trash its reputation with this level of incompetence

Review of Casbah 20-pc. Flatware Set - Assorted Colors

I've bought three sets and am planning to buy more to replace broken ones.I prefer these to other acrylic flatware because these are well balanced (the utensils do not flip backward off plates as do those--commonly sold--with handles that are overly heavy).

We find the hanging rack practical for serving and drying, and the colors look fun in the kitchen.

However, the pieces can't hang without the spherical ball on the end, and these balls break off--they usually split in two. (I'm sure I tried unsuccessfully to repair them with glue.)We've been using our three sets over three years or less, and I guess we have lost the balls off probably all those in the first set, and most of those in the second set and third sets that we use most often (we prefer the smaller spoons and forks).So I have drawers filling with ones that don't hang and am ready to stock up for the 4th time on new ones that will hang--until they break.

Review of Weir in Your Kitchen 6 1/2-Inch Tapas Plates

I have been researching new dishes for a very long time and decided to go with the Weir line from Pfaltzgraff for it's versatility and colors.The Wier line doesn't have a lot of the little extra coordinating pieces as many of their other pattern choices do.I purchased a complete table setting for 8 and mixed up the colors which come in Fennel (yellow), Chichory (Blue), and Cayenne (Red).The dishes are very well made and the yellow is more mustardy to me than bright yellow.If you are buying these to use as bread plates, as I did, keep in mind they are only 6 1/4", they are small.The inside of the dishes are a creamy color with a bit of speckling to it.Some pieces show more of this speckling than others.The color on the outside of the dishes is not a shiny color not satin - in seeing some of the pieces elsewhere on the internet I could not decide if these were a satiny type finish or a high glossy shine, they are more of a glossy shine.I have only had the dishes for a few days so I'll try to add to the review at a later date (if I remember!)But, so far I really like them.

Review of Franciscan Desert Rose Flora Large Canister

Well I've gone thru three shipments for this thing so far and while the canister itself is seemingly beautiful I can't really tell because it keeps arriving either in pieces or cracked.

The original manufacturer's box is very thin single wall cardboard.It would help greatly if the Amazon shipping department folks wrapped the original manufacturers box in a couple layers of bubblewrap before chucking it into the corner of a huge Amazon box with those big air packets that don't do diddly squat to keep fragile things safe.

A little common sense in the shipping department would rectify the breakage of fragile items quickly.Here's hoping that round 4 they actually read my email suggesting bubblewrap first so I can get this thing in time for mother's day.Sheesh!

I kept looking at the photo as I thought it would be more of a chinese red when the design of the set was considered.It is not even close to a red color, think dark mauve. These stands are great for the price!Clean lines and pretty.The china is nice and clean. The silver metal is decent, though very slightly 'stamped' looking. Something comparable with fine metal detailing is in the hundred plus dollar range.Filled with cakes and sandwiches these looked fantastic.Worked beautifully for a child's tea party and would work just as nicely for adults. Nicely packaged and easily disassembled for ease of storage.I am very happy with them. Great bargain find!

We bought these glasses to replace a similar design we bought at Crate and Barrel about 5 years ago which has since been discontinued. They are large enough to hold a 12 oz soda with ice. The milli fiori pattern is beautiful and cheerful, and everyone who has seen them remarks on them. The little bubbles in the glass are very pretty, too.

These should not be used in the dishwasher on a 'heated dry' setting: they may crack (this is why we had to replace our other glasses). But they are fine in the dishwasher if you don't use the heated dry setting. And of course you can always hand wash them, too.

I happen to be very particular with the size of my coffee mug...if its my perfect size I actually enjoy the coffee more!I tend to like my mugs medium sized, larger than your typical mug but not quite too tall either (I hate tall glass cappucino mugs).Anyhow, the Pfaltzgraff mugs were the perfect size for me.I like the thickness as of them as well (don't like paper thin mugs).The design is trendy and artistic, and while they are supposed to be a Christams design, its subtle and they look fine all year round.However, they are not very sturdy.I can be clumsy at times when unloading the dishwasher, and in the first month I've already chipped 2 of the mugs..which is frustrating because I really like them.So, time will tell how long they last before they are so chipped that they need to be tossed...

I bought this pitcher and couldn't be happier with it. it's quailty made and will be so nice to use on Christmas morning to serve juice with cinnamon rolls. I might have to fill it again before breakfast is done but that's no problem. Even the box it came in was decorated in the prettiest pale green flowers. it would be nice to give as a gift or to keep for yourself.

Rather than buy single place settings, I would recommend the 50 piece set which includes 8 6 piece place settings.( dinner plate, salad plate, bread and butter plate, cup and saucer and a bowl) I bought it for 209.99 from belk.com. Review of Lenox Holiday Casserole with Lid

I bought this for someone but found myself in a pinch so ended up using it...and use it often!It's not a large piece but perfect for a smaller dinner (4-8 folks) or on the buffet table.Its style blends well with casual as well as more formal settings.Also, the casserole bowl doesn't have the typical look of something having a lid so it doubles well as a serving bowl.
One minor negative...the glass cover has more of a pyrex-type look than something belonging to a Lenox piece.
