I needed this gift as a housewarming gift and was please with the price and quality of the item. Also, the vendor shipped the items very quickly.
Have had success with some items, but peppercorns were impossible. My son finally had to do the heavy work for me! I think I'll stick to the battery-operated pepper mill and use this for everything else.
Talk about big, I bought it for a salad/pasta bowl. But when not in that use, most of the time, it makes a nice fruit bowl. It can fit 7 large apples in the base, probably stack 3 high. It looks nice so if you pot luck, it can hold a lot. It's as big as a "that's a bowl".
This product is replacement for those that were recently broken.They are identical to the original ones purchased many years ago.Item was as described.
I have been researching new dishes for a very long time and decided to go with the Weir line from Pfaltzgraff for it's versatility and colors.The Wier line doesn't have a lot of the little extra coordinating pieces as many of their other pattern choices do.I purchased a complete table setting for 8 and mixed up the colors which come in Fennel (yellow), Chichory (Blue), and Cayenne (Red).The dishes are very well made and the yellow is more mustardy to me than bright yellow.If you are buying these to use as bread plates, as I did, keep in mind they are only 6 1/4", they are small.The inside of the dishes are a creamy color with a bit of speckling to it.Some pieces show more of this speckling than others.The color on the outside of the dishes is not a shiny color not satin - in seeing some of the pieces elsewhere on the internet I could not decide if these were a satiny type finish or a high glossy shine, they are more of a glossy shine.I have only had the dishes for a few days so I'll try to add to the review at a later date (if I remember!)But, so far I really like them.
I bought this to set out on my countertop with fresh fruit in it. It is much too ornate and bulky to really use as a batterbowl, but I do love it for what I bought it for.
I purchased these plates because I had found the matching coffee cup and I am not disappointed.These are durable and fun and just the right size for a sandwich or a small meal.They are cute and fun and quite lovely.
Well I've gone thru three shipments for this thing so far and while the canister itself is seemingly beautiful I can't really tell because it keeps arriving either in pieces or cracked.

With its nice matte finish and delicate gold leaf whimsically placed, the dinner plate's rim is truly what adds character to this setting. The colors in the Amazon image are accurate--it's beautiful. Also worth noting--this set is very protectively packed.
This star bowl is larger than I expected.Works great for a bowl on the buffet table or to hold candies or cookies.
I kept looking at the photo as I thought it would be more of a chinese red when the design of the set was considered.It is not even close to a red color, think dark mauve. The exterior is gloss and the interior matte black. The style is very sharp looking and holds 12 ounces. If it were chinese red they would be perfect.
I love this set and amazon had some pieces of the set cheaper then anywhere else i looked. i received the creamer and sugar bowl within a couple days (and with free shipping at the time). i think the set is simple and timeless and is easy to match with accent or holiday pieces. this piece is a lot bigger then i expected, which is cool. i couldnt find any flaws in the platinum bands or in the china itself. i cant say enough about how much i like the set.
These stands are great for the price!Clean lines and pretty.The china is nice and clean. The silver metal is decent, though very slightly 'stamped' looking. Something comparable with fine metal detailing is in the hundred plus dollar range.Filled with cakes and sandwiches these looked fantastic.Worked beautifully for a child's tea party and would work just as nicely for adults. Nicely packaged and easily disassembled for ease of storage.I am very happy with them. Great bargain find!
We bought these glasses to replace a similar design we bought at Crate and Barrel about 5 years ago which has since been discontinued. They are large enough to hold a 12 oz soda with ice. The milli fiori pattern is beautiful and cheerful, and everyone who has seen them remarks on them. The little bubbles in the glass are very pretty, too.
Beautiful product, as usual, from Mikasa.Unlike cheaper dishes, these are resistant to absorbing microwave heat and are more easily managed.

I purchased other pieces in this pattern for the holidays. It will certainly add a festive look to the table. I would recommend this Pfaltzgraff pattern to everyone.
My family has purchased two of these dishes and both of them have cracked during normal use (baking and washing.)I emailed the company to complain, but they have never responded.
The Christmas Rose china is elegant and timeless.I've had a set of this holiday china for more than a decade and have always received wonderful comments on it.Spode rereleased this Victorian pattern a number of years ago, so it is an authentic classic pattern. It's not cheap, but because of the design it has a bit more usefulness than many other "Christmas" china sets. I bring it out on Thanksgiving and use it throughout the winter holiday season.
I happen to be very particular with the size of my coffee mug...if its my perfect size I actually enjoy the coffee more!I tend to like my mugs medium sized, larger than your typical mug but not quite too tall either (I hate tall glass cappucino mugs).Anyhow, the Pfaltzgraff mugs were the perfect size for me.I like the thickness as of them as well (don't like paper thin mugs).The design is trendy and artistic, and while they are supposed to be a Christams design, its subtle and they look fine all year round.However, they are not very sturdy.I can be clumsy at times when unloading the dishwasher, and in the first month I've already chipped 2 of the mugs..which is frustrating because I really like them.So, time will tell how long they last before they are so chipped that they need to be tossed...
These cups are beautiful but way too heavy for my taste. I bought them and sent them back right away. if you like heavy china, then you'll love them. Good quality.

I got this after Christmas and I was going to save it, but I changed the ribbon color to my bedroom decor and hung it several different places, and it looks really pretty. Having angels around is always a nice thing!
I bought this pitcher and couldn't be happier with it. it's quailty made and will be so nice to use on Christmas morning to serve juice with cinnamon rolls. I might have to fill it again before breakfast is done but that's no problem. Even the box it came in was decorated in the prettiest pale green flowers. it would be nice to give as a gift or to keep for yourself.
