Pzaltzgraff always makes a fine product. The lids fit smoothly & snugly, no obvious flaws in the stoneware. I will warn you, though, that what looks like blue stripes are closer to a blue - purple: periwinkle I would call it. I was actually looking for slate blue. I like the cannisters well enough, however, so I kept them.
