I love, love, LOVE my Le Cadeaux Melamine dishware!!!This is a great investment for your every day pleasure, bringing a touch of French influence and beauty to your dinner table.


The dishes are so distinctive that I get many compliments every time I bring them out.Even my husband likes them.The designs are so elegant that people don't even realize these are high quality plastic dishes on first sighting. When they pick them up, they are even more impressed!

I own the lemon pattern cereal/salad bowls and luncheon plates and I paired them with the solid gold dinner plate. Because the solid colors are so vivid, it's a lovely match. This review is not for the bowls, which look fine, but for inadequate packing materials. Two arrived completely broken. There were pieces of cardboard between each bowl, but certainly not enough material to prevent breakage. We are returning the set for a refund. I love these bowls, which seem to me to have a Revere-bowl shape... possibly not consistent with the art deco lines of classic Fiesta, but a pleasant shape nonetheless.

Although these are labeled as "mixing bowls", they are way more versatile than that... I more often use mine for serving bowls. (I don't really like the Fiesta flat-bottomed bowl style.) I got a full set of small, medium, large a few years ago and have found that I use them enough that I wanted more than one, so I've added a few more of the small and medium in different colors. (The large is less precious because I have other serving bowls that size.)

We got this flatware along with our new dishes and are extremely happy with it.

As some of the other reviewers have mentioned these utensils are solid, you can feel it as soon as you pick them up. They have nice balance and they have strength (Neo would have a tough time bending this spoon).
The included serving utensils are just as nice and just as sturdy.

The brushed steel has a soft satin look and feel to it and the pieces are nicely shaped. I never really liked the intricate, grandma style flower patterns that my mom always had on her silverware, which makes me like these even more.

We use these every day and I have to say I feel a bit spoiled, while they wont be the most expensive pieces of flatware you ever use, I have gotten used to them and tend notice how flimsy most silverware is now.

They are simple, elegant, sturdy and worth the money.

I purchased 2 sets of this stoneware for everyday use because my wife was tired of looking at our 20 year old Corelleware. I had purchased and still have another service for 8(different Misaka) when I was in Scottsdale, Arizona a few years ago for $500. I must admit, my both sets arrived promptly with no damage and are extremely elegant looking. There are only two adults in our household, so I really am not concerned about the breakage factor. My most pleasant surprise was the $112 price for the service for eight! This was just fantastic. A service for one( 5 piece) is still being sold on this site for $50. Why not buy this set for $6 more?

Review of Unique Housewarming Good Luck Birthday Gifts Guy Girl - 6" Ming Chinese Porcelain Rice Bowl - 3 Designs

As advertised, these are the right size for ramen, udon, etc. Blue dragons aren't the easiest motif to find, for some reason. Slightly below this in quality, there's a line of "rice" pattern tableware from China that looks interesting, and going up from here, you might find discontinued fine china patterns like Mikasa's Imperial Dragon, which is gorgeous. These bowls are about the only thing in between. That's hard to believe, but I've scoured the net, and there it is.

The picture does not reflect the true color of the glaze, which is a pale green, milky-jade crackle glaze-- nice, but not what I thought I was getting. No one will mistake this for Ming Dynasty porcelain, but it's fine for everyday use.

They're listed here for about $20, and I would have paid that if I'd had to, but you can find them for less than half that elesewhere on the net. Just be prepared to wait a few weeks.

For a while, we've been looking for the most satisfying and unique flatware for our daily use and also for casual/formal parties. It finally ended and in the process, we ended up owning 3 different sets. Two of them are made by iittala, a Finland company who makes their products in finland and not in CHINA.

After checking out lot of local department stores we first got Villeroy & Boch New Wave Flatware set which we returned as it didn't feel good in hand. Now, after owning iittala, New Wave looks terrible.

After lot of browsing and research online and in local stores, we ended up owning WMF Taika Flatware for daily use as amazon has incredible deal on 43-piece set. WMF is a European company but the flatware is made in China.

For formal parties, we got iittala's Artik Flatware set. This set has very similar finish to Piano flatware and is more affordable for us.

Then, we were very fortunate to find a bargain deal on Piano dinner forks and knives from a charity organisation that sells on ebay! Of the three, we like Piano the most. No wonder the price is high! It sure shows in the finish and style of the product. The stainless steel has a very vibrant shine to it and the handles are thick and very very comfortable to hold. They are not heavy since the inside of the handles is hallow but the outside of it is so thick that it feels as if its not hallow inside.

This set is sure to get more attention than anything else you put on the table to guests.In fact, iittala suddenly seems to be our favorite brand for kitchen. Amazon just started to carry lot of their products and I placed an order for their daily use drinkware.

The set was delivered via snail mail by my choice and they arrived in perfect condition. The bowls match our existing pieces. The description of the bowl is misleading. You should get out a ruler to lay out the dimensions of the bowl before you buy. I got this as a wedding present in 1976, and the designer is Nanny (not Nancy) Still.

The narrow shapes of the spoons, in particular, are very nice when eating, as they don't rub the sides of your mouth when you take a bite.On the table, they create a very elegant and contemporary look.I love my set, which included a wood case.

I didn't get the iced tea spoons, which I wish the current manufacturer would make again.I'd buy them immediately!!

I ordered this "teacup" and discovered when it arrived that it is the cup only, not the saucer.Never imagined they would be sold separately.There is another record on Amazon that shows the cup only, but at the time my search did not turn it up or I would have known.Since I need the saucer, I called Macy's and asked to exchange for the saucer.The only way this could be done would be to return the cup, and order the saucer, paying another shipping charge of course. Also, the shipping for the cup would not be refunded.When I explained that the picture shows cup and saucer, I was told this was an Amazon problem not a Macy's problem.
