The set was delivered via snail mail by my choice and they arrived in perfect condition. The bowls match our existing pieces. The description of the bowl is misleading. You should get out a ruler to lay out the dimensions of the bowl before you buy. If you are looking for a reasonably sized bowl for cereal or ice cream consider the fruit bowls available from Mikasa in this pattern.
