I searched every where for a toile teapot for mothers day, found this one here and bought the matching tea cup and saucer.Sturdy design yet delicate look, the red is the perfect shade and is really red, not orange or brown like others claiming to be this shade.
Only disappointment is the fact that the red details on the handle seem more country than Victorian, but my mother loves it anyway.
Holds about 4 1/2 cups of hot water and is better hand washed (of course)
Post script, Cup is prettier than the pot itself!
