Review of Slope Flatware 20-pc. Set - Mirror

My initial impression of this product was very good. I purchased it in September 2008 from the physical Target store. The flatware is solid in design, strong, and feels good in the hand. I like the durability and the fact that the large spoons can be used to scoop ice cream without bending them.

However, I quickly discovered that their balance is a little off. The center of gravity is a little high on the handles, which causes them to have a tendency to fall off plates. I've since compared it to other flatware styles to determine that this is indeed not the norm.

The second surprise was that after 3 months of ownership, one of the knives had rust. Now, about 10 months after purchase, three of the knives are rusting and are pitted on the ends of the blades.
