Review of Gibson Regalia 46 pc Dinnerware Set

I purchased this Dinnerware set for my new home, and got it for $39.99 + shipping. Which was a deal compared to other places selling similar sets (both style and number of items).

I was pleased with the price, and my girlfriend chose the style, so I didn't really care for the 'texture/ribbing' around the edges.

However after recieveing the package, and reviewing I found a few issues:

The salt & pepper shakers had poorly driller/stamped holes in the top (they were all over the place and not in any kind of pattern, more around the edges than in the center in a usable fashion).

The plates are all warped, if I flip them around, and lay them flat on the counter, they rock back and forth, it is not huge, but its annoying when you open the cupboard and you see these oddly stacked plates, since you can see the warping rather clearly. (Maybe thats what I get for $39.99 plus ship?).

Imperfections here and there, ranging from the little bowls to the large bowl, some artifacts here and there.

Overall I am happy that I got a good deal on this set as comparisons from Target/Costco/Walmart would have been slightly more for a 46 set.

Just keep that in mind for this set, it is not the best quality dinnerware. Or maybe I'm just overly picky.
