I actually didn't purchase this dinnerware set but rather won it at work.At first, I thought these would be very nice dishes for entertaining, but I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed in them.They are generally sturdy and not bad looking but they seem to be put created in a haphazard manner.Some of the dishes are crooked and some have streaks of glaze across them.I do use them, but I think I'll keep my old dishes for entertaining.My old ones are Miksa-Studio Nova dishes and are very attractive and functional.Click Here to see more reviews about: Gibson Sarasota 46 pc Dinnerware Set
