I purchased ten place settings of these 2 years ago from the Pfaltzgraff website.I was a little disappointed that the plates are SO curved that when you try to cut meat, the plates flip over.I've also had four out of the ten dinner plates crack for absolutely NO reason.I've also chipped and broke 3of the coffee cups and three out of the ten salad plates are now cracked and unuseable.I called Pfaltzgraff today and the woman explained that after they're washed, they shouldn't be used in the microwave for at least 48 hours because water can get trapped and then expand from the heat.That's ridiculous.We're a family of 6 and I'm not supposed to use my plates for 2 days after washing???Two of my plates cracked from putting food (a hot pancake and a piece of steak).
Pfaltgraff said there's nothing they can do because the pattern is not available anymore so I'm out of luck.
I will NEVER EVER buy Pfaltzgraff again.
