If a pattern can be both modern and classic, this is it.We love these dishes.The pattern is a great neutral color, but in a bold, modern pattern.I love how tight these stack in the cupboards - they take up half as much space as our old pfaltzgraff dishes.The dinner sized plates are great. The bowls are good sized for cereal or soup.The mugs have a nice large handle, and we love that they are real mugs, not teacups.The only complaint is that the salad plates are much too small.Our old dishes had a more moderate sized plate that was great for snack, but these are about the size of one slice of bread.Overall, we are very pleased with these dishes and are buying another set.
