The best present ever! Classic Portmeirion quality, in a simple/timeless pattern. The glasses (made in china) are rather thin but look nicer "in person." Be aware that you might not get the same rose image in all three pieces (plates and bowl), it seems to be random which ones are included in the set. sadly, i only recieved one Scarborough Fair plate out of two sets. Plus, the serving platter included with the second set turned out to be from the botanic garden line rather than botanic roses (ordered from amazon).
