We love these dishes! They are beautiful! They do not get hot in the microwave, in fact I have to cook food for shorter periods of time because they are over cooking on them! My last set of dishes (which where a gift) left food undercooked and the dishes got sooo hot they burned my hands. We ordered these and a set of mahogany pointe.
